The Singapore Youth Olympics begin this weekend, airing on both Foxtel and GO!
The games will feature more than 3600 athletes competing in 26 events between the ages of 14 and 18 from August 14 – 26.
Foxtel has a dedicated channel (517) from 12pm Saturday as part of its sports tier package, headed up by Matt Shirvington.
GO! will air a one-hour highlights package each day. It begins at 6am Sunday with the Opening Ceremony and is repeated at 11am. These times continue on Saturdays and Sundays a week later.
On weekdays the highlights air first at 7:30am and are repeated at 3:30pm.

Foxtel coverage of these 1st ever Youth Olympics is very disappointing, no Live coverage just boring news. Not happy Foxtel!!!
Foxtel decided not to show the opening ceremony live and still haven’t shown it. We are always kept away from the rest of the World
So little athletics has finally made the big time eh?
why would they have advertised they crap out of this then to put it on in such useless timeslots…. I thought at least they could have put it on at 5pm or 11.30 at least…..
7:30PM Saturday?
So what time is the actual opening ceremony?
So Foxtel will have full coverage and GO highlights.
Lucky I have Foxtel then.
Any news on a guide for foxtel’s coverage?
Weekdays at 7:30am and 3:30pm seem a bit silly. I mean, these are the youth olympics, and one would that the majorty of people who would want to watch this would be the youth. Teens are getting ready for school at 7:30am, while most teens don’t get back from school by at least 4:00pm.
