Australia’s Next Top Model judge Charlotte Dawson will sue Ninemsn and Facebook over allegations she bullied a teenage student, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Dawson said she initially joined a Facebook group to defend her co-star believing it was “one of our friends joking around”.
“But as soon as we started, the responses became really full-on and the messages we were sent were so explicit,” she said.
Extreme comments allegedly ended in death threats to the pair. Both plan a joint action against a Ninemsn report which documented the thread.
Ninemsn head of news Hal Crawford defended the article yesterday, stating: “Charlotte Dawson confirmed with [us] that she had made those comments.”

I’d be suing her dodgy plastic surgeon first if I was her – what’s happened to her face?
You might not like what was said, and fair enough but to try and sue you got little to no hope
I agree death threats are off.. but its just that kinda industry like backstabbing not literally lol but yeah some nutty’s will want to take action on her caty comments.
lol she can dish it to young skinny girls and get paid well but cant take it, how sad!
I’ve been critical of ANTM judges in the past (especially for a show that has minors) but there is a line of decency nobody should be subjected to. Death threats? I think not.
@AndrewM, Ah, but the people who wrote the comments probably have no money, and nothing fixes a damaged ego and insulted heart like cold hard cash don’t you know?
Why isn’t she suing the people who posted the comments? Facebook and Ninemsn are just the facilitators who provide a service, how can they be held responsible for user’s comments? This is the equivalent of shooting the messenger.
