“Tell me what you don’t like about yourself?”

Ryan Murphy’s salacious, excessive drama Nip / Tuck finally draws to a close in Australia on Monday night after six seasons and seven years on air (and about two of them too many).

I always called them “Dr. Whore and Dr. Bland” but together with “Whiney Wife,” “Michael Jackson” and “Lezzy Liz” they were such over the top fun. I always had to watch those close up surgeries through my fingers. Soooo vivid.

Nothing will beat “The Carver” -I was on the edge of my seat across that season.

The show ends with a whimper rather than a bang, however there’s a sentimental wrap for longtime fans.

Here’s to some of the faces and moments that defined a show that loved to be on the cutting edge…

Nip /Tuck ends 11:45pm Monday on GO!

  1. cant wait for the box set (any news when avail in OZ). i watched the first season, then didn’t go back til it returned on GO. freaky, scary and funny show. the son wigged me out tho cause so creepy and jennifer coolidge guest appearances were brilliant.

  2. As the N/T show was probably too dark for most viewers, it always unfortunately fared poorly for Nine ratings wise and was one of the most stuffed around shows on Aus TV, having had 4 timeslot changes on GO.

N/T was a nice change to all the mostly procedural and medical shows, but probably went on 1 or 2 seasons too long. It also didn’t wrap up several annoyingly unresolved plots brought up in episodes and being only a basic cable show, N/T didn’t have enough freedom as it should’ve had, for its show’s
    sex scenes.

  3. i have to say that this is one of the most craziest, weirdest show i ever saw. there are some scenes in this show that i don’t think i can forget!
