Actor Balthazar Getty, who plays Tommy Walker in Brothers and Sisters, will reportedly not return to the show when it kicks off its fifth season.

He spent most of the last season in absentia anyway…..

Actor Balthazar Getty, who plays Tommy Walker in Brothers and Sisters, will reportedly not return to the show when it kicks off its fifth season.

Tommy’s absence will be explained in the season premiere, which airs in the US in September.

His exit will follow Rob Lowe (Robert) and the impending departure of Emily VanCamp (Rebecca) who will be back for a handful of episodes to wrap up her storyline.

The family is certainly beginning to thin out. Should the show wrap up this season?

  1. Since it was rumoured most of the cast do not get on well with Getty, this is really no surprise. Not missed in the most recent season.

    Mr Do-Bee, Ryan left hastily after sabotaging the Walker Landing wine, causing a lot of the money woes that led to the end of Ohai Foods.

  3. No the show should not wrap up this season, so what if two partners and one sibling has left. Tommy was recurring last season.
    Tyhe rest are still committed by the sound of things.

  4. I reckon they should introduce a new cousin or nephew or something. It worked so well in 80s sitcoms. Even a new brother/sister from a previous affair of… oh wait, never mind.
