Ooops. Guy Sebastian dropped a clanger on The X Factor last night.

Ooops. Guy Sebastian was in the US this week and on video link for The X Factor.

But that didn’t stop him from dropping this clanger last night.

And he’s such a nice Christian boy too!

  3. one thing the yt video doesn’t capture is how dramaitic and emotional the moment was before it, it was so unexpected ad it obiously took the crowd a few seconds to react.

    priceless moment considering mahogany have such a nice christian girl image.

  5. I love the way Ronan and Natalie and the crowd goes off, but Kyle has a delayed reaction, and then doesn’t find it as funny as everyone else 😛 I don’t think this was staged though, highly unlikely it was.

  6. Mr Chandler is right. I wouldn’t put it past 7 to stage it, only Not this time! That was a genuine slip from Guy and an entertaining, natural reaction from all.

  14. How come everyone thinks now after that model incident everything has to be staged. He was talking about his contestants and it came out wrong thats all. It was hilarious. Get over yourself people it wasn’t staged.

  15. Adam, Guy was asked to introduce Mahogany before they performed on the show last night. He had earlier introduced Kharizma (as each judge is required to do before their acts perform). He said something to the effect of “… when they performed on one of my tours, these guys blew me away … and when they auditioned for the show they blew me again”

  16. why do people think everything is staged? Have people become so cynical, suspicious and think that everything is manufactured. Guy’s faux pax was So freudian and embarrassing – even with the delay, his extreme embarrassment was on display!

  17. How on earth can anyone think this was staged? For that to be staged, you’d have to know those groups were in the bottom two and from everything else on the show Guy was as shocked as anyone that he had to face that situation. It’s good to be cynical with TV networks (and the media in general) but in this case, there was no acting!

  18. Adam – Guy was introducing Mahogany and he was talking when he first heard them sing, their voices blew him away and then when they turned up to audition he meant to say they blew him away again but he forgot to say ‘away’ and just said ‘blew me again’! Hehehehe!

  19. What was more funny was Seven quickly cutting to Mahogany’s performance when it looked like Guy could not recover from such a moment! Priceless live TV this week all ’round!!!

  21. i don’t think it was staged and if it was there must be someone with a powerful crystal ball backstage that would have predicted guy top be in this situation and Guy would have to be a very good actor.

    it was soo funny because it was such a tense moment for guy with both his acts in the bottom 2. and mahogz have been ion the media for reports of getting special treatment all season.
