Now try to remain calm….Just weeks after being rejected, David E. Kelley’s reboot of Wonder Woman will have a Pilot after all, with NBC.
Well, he did say he was confident of it moving forward, after all.
The project is described as a reinvention of the character, with Diana Prince as a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. and also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.
The approval follows hot on the heels of Kelley delivering Harry’s Law, which has started out well for NBC.
Wonder if it will rework the 70s theme tune?
NBC has also greenlit Mann’s World from Michael Patrick King and Steven Spielberg’s Smash, about the making of a Broadway show.
J.J. Abrams drama Odd Jobs starring Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn, has been pushed back while the Josh Schwartz supernatural drama Ghost Angeles has been rejected by NBC.

Having a Super Hero show, run by guy who specialises in Legal darma’s is just wrong. Especially a heroine as iconoc as Wonder Woman. Kelly turns even his non legal shows into legal dramas.
It’s not a remake. It’s a new adaptation of a comic book that’s been around a lot longer than that crap old show from the 70s that we all enjoyed when we were 3yo. Suppose you lot still think of Adam West as the definitive Batman too.
It won’t work….don’t waste your money!! These copycat remakes of 70’s shows have been tried before and they have rarely worked….imagine remakes of Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie, Little House On The Prairie, Get Smart etc What a hilarious thought!! None would work! When they air the new Wonder Woman episodes I will be watching the original episodes on my boxed dvd collection!
Won’t work.
So next Fall season we might have Wonder Woman, Charlies Angels and Hawaii Five O. Talk about lack of ideas in Hollywood!!

Did I hear ages ago that Megan Gale was in line to be playing Wonder Woman in this?
Megan Gale was only going to play wonder woman in the Justice League film , that seems to of been shelved.

Her current “street outfit” in the comic books is rather boring and I definitely would not want to see this on the show.
I will watch this show as long as Wonder Woman wears her iconic red and blue leotard = ratings.
Can handle David E. Kelley, NBC is the stumbling block here.
Given how badly The Cape has preformed on NBC I don’t hold out much hope for this…
#fail
Ahhhhhhh Wonder Woman…Linda Carter…brings back such good childhood memories.
nbc eh? so i’m guessing that’s a 21 episode series (max)…
