Aren’t they mentioned on an ep of The Simpsons – Homer is watching and proudly proclaims that there are only three left in the world – as if they were a rare species of bird. Not forgotten!
Oh what a blast from the past, I used to love watching Solid Gold I and The Solid Gold dancers were great. My friend and I used to mimick some of the dancers and the hosts Rick Dees and Marilyn Macoo ” thank you Gail ,Kooley, Darcel our Solid Gold Dancers.
This show won’t last in the US & Andrew G is really just a bad clone of Ryan Seacreast…with a bad haircut!!!
hehehhe, it was my mum’s life long gold to become a solid gold dancer. I must fwd this onto her. She’ll feel much better about her actual trajectory…
#cantstoptherhythm!
