Ricky Gervais has now appeared in his cameo in the US series of The Office, meeting his US counterpart played by Steve Carrell.

  1. Anyone having troubles, I opened the video link and after seeing the copyright message, saw a similar video image underneath. That link worked, so have a look.

  4. People keep saying the suggestion he could replace him.

    However I really don’t think it’d happen. Ricky tends to want more control over his roles than just an acting gig. So for the role he created that made him a star, he’d obviously want to have some control over the stories and writing. So it’d be a huge commitment. They could conceivably offer him a huge pay day though. Just don’t think he’d want to ruin the legacy of the original office. It’d only work if it was a direct tie in, which means it’d be a stunt by the “producers” of the “documentary”.. eh it all wouldn’t work. Unless the show was coming towards an end game of the show.
