WIN Television CEO John Hatcher departed yesterday after having been appointed to the role in July 2010.
TV Tonight understands he had he indicated a few months ago that he wouldn’t be renewing his contract.
Hatcher (pictured, left) commenced with WIN as Executive Vice President moving to Acting CEO 12 months later and finally CEO. He had previously been General Manager of Channel TEN in Adelaide and Network TEN National Sales Manager.
Hatcher is believed to have a number of side businesses he wants to concentrate on.

Would be great to see a female running the network for awhile. The men seem to come and go at this organisation
who’d want that job now when job security is only as long as the old man like you….
The son Andrew Gordon has some spare time on his hands after the collapse of SelecTV to fill in ‘suppose.
It’s a wonder the ever revolving front door for WIN CEO’s still works at Wollongong HQ, as WIN would be too tight to pay for the door grease.
David didn’t Hatcher replace David Butorac, who only lasted a few months himself? Maybe something stinks at WIN.
