  1. 9 are doing this because they cant win friday nights and they are up against the footy in some states. Anyway I think its a great idea and im not sure if its a coincedence that we are playing NZ but its good to see 9 do this.

Also would anyone be disappointed if we lose to NZ. Under normal circumstances I would be but it would be kinda nice to see them win.

  2. Awesome news – that’s my afternoon and evening sorted 🙂 And yes, I can’t help feeling that Nine thinks they’ll get more viewers by having New Zealand in the game – maybe I’m just cynical or maybe I’m 100% right.

  3. Sweet!!!!

I absolutely gave them shite on their 9 news FB page (its the only one I knew) bagging the crap out of them for not showing the first australian game!

something along along the lines of the top ranked ODI team not getting the games shown live… how a joke we must be to the rest of the world 🙂

I mean, I have foxtel here, but not in the bed room, so I gave em what I thought 🙂

    hopefully that helped too….

but yes, are they only doing this because its against NZ???

hmm… we shall see… till I goto bed, its on Foxtel HD tho 🙂

  4. I have a feeling this will be a one-off, tomorrow is the Australia vs New Zealand game, and I think they might be showing it just because of the earthquake (sad assumption I know) ….. I guess we will really find out when the next game is played!

  5. I realise it looks like I overlook Nine viewers in SA and WA but Nine programming info is for their stations and WIN-owned stations advise separately (and never at the same time). As a general rule what plays on the East Coast is mirrored in SA / WA, with a particular nod to Melbourne as an ‘AFL state’. I would expect this to be live in all states but am unable to confirm right now.
