What’s the link to all our natural disasters?

Make up your own mind….

However, this cheeky clip does look a little toooooo slick to be fan-made.

  1. I agree with @pete. but why were journos out on the street when a massive cyclone was about to hit. it was more stupidity than actually in the interest of viewing public

  2. I’m ashamed to admit it but I liked Grant Denyer doing his ‘iPhone’ stories the morning after, getting in there first even if the video was crap and the connection was unreliable. Maybe he’ll get a deal with Apple now 😆

But I can see the other side, approaching victims just hors after the cyclone is cringe worthy as Nine’s weather guy reports of a flooded road they Grant had passed hours before.

One of the biggest issues I have with the whole event is with Koch and Mel reporting with the sun barely up that there was very little damage, but they were in relatively save areas. Just look at the areas directly hit and distorted by Yasi.

  3. Is anyone else appalled at the number of journos that were forced by their employers to stay in the region in the face of Yasi just so that they could report live from the scene?? I’m sorry, but weren’t people being evacuated for safety reasons?? Several journos have expressed genuine terror at what they went through. I hope they are provided with stress leave and therapy after that!

  4. Sunrise is a disgrace:

Grant “take me seriously- Im a weatherman” is an absolute disgrace. Sunrise was absolutely cringeworthy. Want examples?

    (1) Grant Denyer acting all hero standing outside when the premier clearly asked everyone to stay indoors. Why did he feel the need to barge into peoples homes without even asking?

    (2) David Koch telling us that there were 18 metre waves? The premier had dismissed this misinformation many many hours earlier

    (3) Melissa Doyle describing a waving palm tree as if it was armageddon.

The clowns at 9 werent much better- Karl Stefanovic was acting like the whole entire world was about to implode- I mean seriously- sensationalist sH** from both sides.

  5. but hark! i hear the squelch of gum boots and the swiffle of kochi’s drizabone as he dons his trusty super hero suit. then the squelch as he wriggles into his mole skins.

too late kochi. my step daughters car is already floating down the road and mums garage is underwater. if you get there quick enough you might get some footage of ciggie butts going into the storm water drain.

  6. koshi and mel havent been sighted in victoria today have they? im watching every free to air channel and there is no news of the floods in vic. as my step daughter in melb and my mother in ballarat seek refuge from flooding, me and the missus have the tranny out listening to all the warnings, news and updates and getting updated on facebook.

  7. Very funny, I want them to stay away from my town too, but for different reasons, I just think they’re terrible human beings, throw the Today guys in as well and the current affairs shows.

You’re right it doesn’t look fan made, my guess it was done by the guys over at Hungry Beast, I’d bet cash money we’ll see it on the next season. Followed by a week of Seven screaming.

  8. I cant stand Kochie… he only wants to hear the bad news… when someone tells him of survival or something good, he ignores it ot moves quickly on to something else. If its bad… he digs deeper. Come to think about it, I cant stand Mel either.
