  1. Jacob is Not anyones American Idol. Where does Jacob get his unwarranted confidence?! He is constantly telling “America” how much we love him. (Yuck) Every week I was shocked with the judges outpouring of compliments on Jacob. Was I hearing the same thing they were? I am so glad he’s finally going home.

  2. Jacob has a horrible voice, not to mention his awkward stage presence, tacky clothing, and delusional pompous attitude. His low range is so muddy as if he always has a stuffed up nose. His higher range is just way over-reaching, practically screeching, and absolutely unbearable. Please stop comparing him to legendary singers such as Luther Vandross. Jacob just does not have the same velvety quality. I have yet to hear him sing a song perfectly. I cannot even imagine listening to an entire Jacob Lusk album let alone a single song without cringing.

  3. Jacob Lust has a voice, A Gift ,that God has Blessed him with. When he sing, he moves your Sole no matter what he sing. Some people don’t understand that feeling so they say they don’t him but it ‘s ok.We all have to fine that inter part inside of us one day.Best of luck. Don.t you ever stop singing. I love to hear you sing , you have a Fan.!!!

  4. I just don’t see what anybody sees in Jacob Lusk. He is Terrible. I cannot stand to hear him sing or to watch him. He is enough to make me stop watching Idol.

  5. I love Jacob and hope he prospers beyond whatever happens in Idol. He is truly unique. Sorry to read all the haters. Should be enough to simply not care for someone. I really do get quite concerned for this animosity fueled world in which we now appear to live.

  6. I can’t stand his voice and I agree he has a terrible personality, I was hoping he wouldn’t make it, wish I could vote him out. Casey is great, a true musician but I think one of the girls may take it out, Lauren Alaina perhaps.

  7. Jacob has a really amazing voice. I love listening to it. But if he keeps on just singing these big soul/gospel songs he will definitely become repetitive. If he was the eventual winner I’m not sure if I would want to listen to a whole album of his. The songs would probably all sound the same.

I love love love Casey Abrams though. Like other commenters have already said. He has such stage presence and really puts everything into a performance. The other finalists should take note of all the passion and energy he puts into his songs and try and do the same.

James Durban is awesome too! His voice is very similar to Adam Lambert’s. And I love Paul! He has such a great alternative voice and style. I hope he gets through.

Other than that I thought alot of the contestants made really awful song choices and the backing band/music really seemed to drown them out. Stefano was pretty good singing “Just the way you are” but most of the others were forgettable.

  8. As much as I like Jacob’s drag queen sensibilities, he won’t be the next American Idol. Neither will the most talented person this year, Casey Abrams. And I doubt they’ll crown another Adam Lambert-clone James Durbin as the winner. I’ll plonk myself on the fence.

  9. Jacob is amazing! Last year I stopped watching American Idol not long after the top 12 were revealed because the talent was no where near that of Australian Idol contestants. I hope Jacob goes far in the industry!
