Brynne Edelsten is pure car-crash telly

Oh-my-gawd-they-can't-be-serious? Brynne Edelsten co-hosted The Morning Show today.

Larry Emdur deserves a medal for propping up, errr make that co-hosting with, Brynne Edelsten on The Morning Show today.

She was absoluely dreadful.

But it did make for car-crash oh-my-gawd-they-can’t-be-serious viewing….

Edelsten, who is set to appear Dancing with the Stars, was as wooden as they come, reading all her introductions and questions from an autocue.

In that gobsmacking battle the autocue won.

Her dancing lesson with Laz was a shocker too.

She also said she doesn’t have a Logies dress made up yet. She thought it was next weekend.

But despite all this, I think she will be good car-crash telly for Dancing with the Stars.

Just please don’t let her near a Presenting job again?

No, really.

Check out her “best” autocue moment here at: 2:00 mins after the ad finishes.

  1. to those who feel sorry for her – are you serious?? it just shows what a tonne of money can do in Australia, you can get on tv, co-hosting one of the biggest tv shows even if you don’t know how to read.. she is a joke of course, but a rich joke and that’s what’s so sad.more often than not trully talented people can’t get anywhere whereas this horrid train crash is all over tv.

  2. If she can pull off the same smile, the same stiffness when she graces the dance floor, I may even have to watch that dreadful show. It’s so bad it’s good. And…that smile….erghhh…that constant smile and stare into the lens.

  3. Yes, she was woeful, but I think the award for autocue usage must go to a so-called professional on CH7.
Sandy Roberts justs stares at the autocue and never at the camera for the whole time that he reads the sports report.
This terrible woman comes in 2nd as she is not a professional hosts.

  4. I feel sorry for her

The only reason why people (TV people) talk about her and invite her on is because she’s a joke. It’s really nasty if you think about it

  5. That was funny! She reminds me of that infocommerical for hoses where the Dad and Daughter heavily rely on the autocue, however she was far worse!

Does she have problems with her head and facial movement controls as it kept bobbing around!

She is a “social extrodinaire”, oh please she ony married a disgraced Medico who is a Z grade celeb!

  6. Why didnt Seven just get Rebecca Maddern to fill in today, she has the beauty and the brains. Also always wondered why Seven hasnt ever used the talented Ann Sanders to co host the show.Ann is talented and classy lady and her talents are not used enough by the network because she is of a certain age now.Seven again proving has low class they are!

  7. Pathetic. Objectifying and sexist. Everyone seems to miss the point here. If the male was on leave they certainly would not have picked somebody a male that was vacuous, cardboard and unprofessional. What a slap in the face for the female presenter on leave, this is what the predictably male management at channel 7 think of women. She’s obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed, I grant that, but I’m sick to death of female representation in the media being swayed towards this stereotype. Sure there are plenty of examples to the contrary, I admit, but this is still all too common. Watching Q & A the other night, it seems wearing beige and sporting grey hair is the only way to be heard as an intelligent women with intelligent educated opinions in the media. Just pathetic watching the male panelists laugh and scoff and dismiss everything Eva Cox had to say, but she came across with much more class than the insecure male panelists who clearly have issues with their manhood, which can be loosely generalized across that whole male baby boomer generation. I know there are beautiful, educated intelligent women out there, my partner is one, but sadly they can’t be taken seriously unless they have their chest on show.
