Brynne Edelsten is pure car-crash telly

Oh-my-gawd-they-can't-be-serious? Brynne Edelsten co-hosted The Morning Show today.

Larry Emdur deserves a medal for propping up, errr make that co-hosting with, Brynne Edelsten on The Morning Show today.

She was absoluely dreadful.

But it did make for car-crash oh-my-gawd-they-can’t-be-serious viewing….

Edelsten, who is set to appear Dancing with the Stars, was as wooden as they come, reading all her introductions and questions from an autocue.

In that gobsmacking battle the autocue won.

Her dancing lesson with Laz was a shocker too.

She also said she doesn’t have a Logies dress made up yet. She thought it was next weekend.

But despite all this, I think she will be good car-crash telly for Dancing with the Stars.

Just please don’t let her near a Presenting job again?

No, really.

Check out her “best” autocue moment here at: 2:00 mins after the ad finishes.

  1. This was an absolute train wreck. Why did they even let her pass the door. Sorry this was just shocking. It degraded the Morning Show big time. Why not use Rebecca Maddern or someone else from the Seven stable. Why did they use her?

  2. Can someone explain the medias,in particular Seven and the Herald-Sun,fascination with this annoying woman ?
Does she not realise everyone thinks she’s actually a joke ?
She’s only famous because she married a doctor whose is these days best known for being sent to jail.

Come on Julia, deport her for annoying every Australian [or Orstalian as Julia would say]

  3. I must admit I watched this and could not stop staring at the upper half of Brynnes dress….or to be honest its contents. I wish ch7s other female presenters would follow her inspired choice of clothing. Great daytime viewing…..this is what crap tv is all about.

  4. What is pathetic here is not that poor (well, yes, I know He is rich) girl’s appalling performance but the entire crew of every television program that keeps giving her coverage. They know she would be like a deer in the headlights – and here we are all talking about it. The bullet should go to the Seven network executive who came up with the idea of putting this car crash to air. It was sad to see and Larry should have stood his ground and made sure she didn’t have to undergo this embarrassment – and then he wouldn’t have had to sit alongside her. They are all fools.

  5. I have nothing against Brynne as a person, she is who she is. My problem is with the people who are letting her embarrass herself on national tv like this!
To be fair, the other guests on the couch were just as cringeworthy.

  6. Who had this brainwave “lets get Brynne Edelsten to host!”? And who was the person that took them seriously? But in all seriousness, if she can’t find a dress in time, what she’s wearing will probably be fine, just put her husband in a matching suit 😉

  7. I had to watch it a couple of times to get what you were talking about. I was slightly distracted by other elements of the presentation. Looks like the producers were distracted also because they neglected to have her practice autocue reading before they put her on air.
