Nine scores with Women’s State of Origin, Seven wins Thursday.
It was quiet in entertainment with game shows best of the bunch.

Women’s State of Origin drew 941,000 on Thursday, eclipsing Seven’s AFL at 561,000 in National TV Audience.
The Chase topped entertainment at 690,000 viewers but only just pipped Tipping Point at 685,000.
Home and Away was also 685,000.
Budget 2024: Opposition Reply was 477,000 then 7:30 (403,000), The Dog House (312,000) and DNA Family Secrets (205,000).
Seven News drew 1.31m. Dogs Behaving Very Badly managed 170,000 where it screened.
Nine News pulled 1.13m with A Current Affair at 974,000.
ABC News averaged 789,000. Hard Quiz was 340,000 then Foreign Correspondent (329,000) and Britain by Book (259,000).
The Project scored 309,000 for 10. 10 News First was 294,000 then Deal or No Deal (292,000). Law & Order: SVU was 182,000.
On SBSÂ Our Law averaged 51,000.
The Morning Show: 240,000 /
Today Extra: 171,000 /

David, do you have Melbourne-specific figures for last night’s State of Origin (on Nine) and AFL (on Seven)?

The nrl pulled 49k while AFL pulled 216k in Melbourne. I think 49k doesn’t seem too bad for Melbourne, given that it is an AFL city. But nevertheless, this will probably give them exposure to the game.
