There must be 1000’s of 14 yo kids out there who can sing this well, and they can’t all make it big. Logically this boy will do well on this show and then he will return to where he came from – obscurity.
Sally …no personality and looks is also important…he’s no Justine Beever. Also boys with girlish voices do end up making it big…..in church choirs…..
omg this kid has just got his wish he is going to be better then Justin bieber
well done jake will go far
Justin…
Can’t sing? Usher and Justin Timberlake fought over him.
Is ugly? Millions of girls think he’s the hottest guy alive, and he’s on millions of posters everywhere.
He’s weak? He broke his foot on stage and carried on singing.
He’s heartless? Listen to pray
He’s unsuccessful? 17 years old, 29 songs, 3 albums, 9 music videos,1 movie,1 book, 20 awards, 2 tours, 86 shows, 40 million fans.
Do your research before you make fun of him ♥
lol jack your amazing ily keep up the awesome work your an awesome singer your alredy the winner Stop the Show LOL
@ Jake, oh you just wait and see, this kid will go a long way
It would take a very hard heart to deny that this boy has a great talent.
Considering that it was a live performance there were very few flaws or flat notes – God knows I’ve heard lots of professional singers make more mistakes and it was quite a complicated song too.
Put this lad in a proper recording studio and he’s going to sound like an angel.
Good luck to you, young man – but I don’t think you’ll need it.
Jake – That voice is all he needs…… mate!
….that’s right he has nothing…… just that voice….not enough to make it mate….
To Tina…. Take the music away from almost any song and they all sound like someone shouting… This kids is 14 years old and he sang an amazing song. Give him credit where credit is due!
Jack I think you have an amazing voice! dont listen to comments like Tina’s, she is clearly jealous of your ability to sing Whitney Houston with such ease and confidence.
Great Job!!!!!!
What an incredible voice!!!
He will go far indeed!!!
Go Luck Jack!!!
He is indeed very very good!!!! But no matter what, little boys with girly voices make me a bit uncomfortable.
OMG!!! What a fantastic voice!!! As a fellow Vidgen, I say Go Forth Young Man & Prosper!!! Take the Vidgen name Global!!!!!
Brian McFadden is rivaling his mate Kyle for the ‘Biggest Tosser on TV’ crown. The kid wasn’t even finished singing.
Wow wow wow!!!!!! – Holy crackerjacks!!! This kid is amazing!!!!!
I am a closet Whitney fan, and have always marvelled at her ability to pull off that song like noone else can – but last night, little Jack rocked it!!!
And at 14!!! – I just hope his voice holds out (or even better…..improves) as he matures.
And for Jack’s Parents, could you be any prouder?????? – I cant wait till I have kids and I can feel the same sense of pride and utter unconditional love you have for him. Kudos to you guys for allowing him to follow his dreams!!!!
Amazing!!!!!!
doubtful he’ll meet justin bieber’s mark, good luck to him though.
of course brian had to get in and interrupt his final note.
lol@robbie.
Absolutely brilliant ! Jack has natural talent and he is capable of being a huge star.
not a show i normally watch as i dont like the judges but if i can get to watch jack each week i will be hooked. on ya jack you are a legend in your own right congratulations
OMG!!!!! Can you believe the sound that came from the lips of that boy, to think that a 14 yo can produce that kind of perfection in his performance is unbelievable. We had goose bumps and tears and everytime I hear a repeat of last nights performance the same thing happens. Jack, you are Australia’s Talent. Hold onto all of the dreams that you have because you will achieve all of them and more, Congratulations!!!! You are already a star in our eyes.
Now I know various Seven shows (TT, Sunrise etc) will be filled with sob stories about Jack’s childhood for the duration of this series, just like how they were filled with Altiyan’s sob stories about his past during X Factor last year.
He bought tears to my eyes and I had goosebumps all over…Whitney Houston use to do that to me….This young man has got talent plus!
jacko you were amazing!
Every now and then an artist in the making comes along, makes you tingle and brings out your emotions with an unbelievable performance. It was a stunning, superbly presented by a young person who appears to be simply nice, appreciative and humble – Wow
