  1. I am saddened to hear Craig Hutchinsons arrogant and ruthless comments re Mark Harvey and the Dockers? I am not a Dockers supporter, however, I felt Craig was unsympathetic towards Mark and his family to the extreme? Put yourself in his shoes Craig if you can, I bet you can’t though? You are too ruthless and your arrogancy will always prove you right…right? Go the mighty Eagles!!!

  2. good show fantastic review of all thing footy Hawthor wiil give it a good shake..I would love an up date on Jimmy stiens. he is such a legend& after watching tonight’s show Gary lions is looking a little weary not sure if it is because of his extra roll at melbourne footy or looking out for his mate jimmy stiens . but i felt he was a liitle sad.I hope & pray that Jimmy is doing well at this stage and as he has been through so much in his personal life & shared this with the footy world i do believe he was the first Ireish footballer in OZ. Anyway i am not a melbourne supporter. but have unfortunately lived through a simar l senario and Man OH MAn he is one tough cookie.
I would love to wish him well ,spend all the time that is left with your wonderfull wife & beautiful children as this is what we /they will all treasure.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. how come come when all the vic clubs couldnt win a game they were re building but now that the crows & power can’t there in trouble. surpose when you think about all the no. 1,2,3,4,5 draft picks & how they lost matches on purpose to get even more hand out they should be on top. oh hang on my mistake sorry that was the melbourne clubs who have had all the hand outs!!!!!!!!

  4. The one-upman-ship and need to win an arguement by the last word by 2 of the presenters in the show is too hard to watch, in interesting story surely does not conclude by winning the arguement, let me know when you understand what an informed debate is, so I can come back to watching the show.
soory guys, my kids are more constructive… seriously !!!

  5. Best show on TV for mine. Grant Thomas’ refusal to “tow the company line” and instead say what he really thinks is such a refreshing change.

  6. There’s only 17 teams, so why is AFL played on every day except Tuesday an Wednesday?

In England there’s dozens of teams in 5 national leagues, and they play on 4 days.

    Apparently boofheads=ratings.

Fevola on Sunday Night proved that

  7. @ Chris, it was a PayTV game, not a free-to-air game on Anzac Day.

The game was only shown on FTA in Western Australia because of the AFL’s “home team on FTA” contract for teams outside of Victoria.

  8. What I’m saying is that perhaps they *can’t* do the show live on Monday night so are avoiding having a stale pre-taped show by doing it on Sunday night.

  9. Anzac day was live, they werre giving score updates of the match in Perth. The game will be over by 10:30, if they had some balls they would expose 10 for not showing the game live.

  10. Not the case about it not being Live, as it was Live to air on Anzac Day when there was a match in Western Australia. They were giving real time score updates. Caro will be working Mothers Day night.

  11. Sort of related … Ray Hadley said on 2GB earlier this yearthat Mad Monday would be back on Nine this year. Still no sign of it.

  12. @ Catfan, the game will still be being shown on Channel 10 in 10:30pm, Channel 9 has Never put a Footy talk show on while a game is being shown on tv.

That’s why AFL Footy Show was being shown on a Wednesday night for a few weeks already this season.

  13. So why the move to Sunday? Perhaps a late end to the Monday night game would expose the show for not being live at 10:30pm on the night?
