Tonight marks the Grand Final of Series Two of SBS’s affectionate quiz show Letters & Numbers.
Two contestants will pit their linguistic and numerical skills against each other and the clock in this and battle it out all for the glory of a trophy. What else would you expect from a public broadcaster?
Hosted by Richard Morecroft, with maths whiz Lily Serna and wordsmith David Astle it airs at 6pm tonight on SBS ONE.
Series 3 kicks off on Monday night.

I just watch the show because of Lily Serna.
I love this show! It’s a quiz show with substance. And of course, Lily, Richard and David are an absolute delight to watch.
Tony for the win! 😀
For some reason, I just can’t get over the fact that there’s more numbers used in the title and set graphics than letters when the game is weighted more towards words.
I really have to get out more…
Agree with dave, best game show on TV!
Best quiz show on the box since Mastermind.
That’s why I fear for it’s future.
And Hey BananaFish, back off man, I saw Lily first! 😉
Lily Serna *sigh*. Can’t get enough of her.
This show is so addicting, my mum and I play every night without fail 🙂
Best quiz/game show on television.
I just love this show. It’s a refreshing change from all the glossy and lifeless quiz shows on other channels. It’s all about learning and fun rather than winning prizes.
