Nominees for the 17th Deadly Awards were announced recently, recognising achievers in indigenous community, sports and arts.
In the television category the nominees include programmes from NITV, SBS, ABC and Imparja Television.
There were also familiar names in the Actor category, which covers several performance categories.

The Deadlys will be held at the Sydney Opera House on 27 September 2011 and broadcast on SBS.
