Australian actor Damon Gameau (Love My Way, Spirited, Underbelly, Balibo) features in Irish drama series Raw, which follows the friendships, rivalries and passions among the staff of a thriving Dublin restaurant.
It also stars Keith McErlean, Charlene McKenna, Liam Garrigan and Shelley Conn.
The RTE series had two seasons which began in 2008.
In the first episode, successful solicitor Shane returns to Dublin with his career and life in tatters and seeks out his wayward sister, chef Jojo, at her place of work -‘Raw’.

Temperamental gay souschef Geoff threatens to make public his affair with a local journalist if he publishes a story about the drug sales taking place at ‘Raw’.

Raw starts Thursday, July 21 at 7.30pm on W.

Hopefully all you General Hospital fans are also Days of Our Lives ones, cause GH isn’t returning to W and Days should’ve replaced it weekdays at 12:50pm, after The Young and the Restless, from Monday June 20, so lets focus on other things like the fact that showcase should replace On Demand Preview on channel 138! Which channel do you reckon Raw should air on Billy?

  4. sounds like the bought it because of one familiar face in it. This is more odd than Remote Area Nurse screening on W . They get weirder and weirder. Raw is a few years old now. wrong channel to screen it on.

  5. Damon is also the boyfriend of Winners & Losers star Zoe Tuckwell-Smith, and gets plenty of mention in TV Week’s interview with Zoe which appears in this week’s issue.

  6. I don’t know about General Hospital… but this sounds interesting, a bit like Kitchen Confidential that was aired a fair few years back.

    but can’t keep General Hosptial
    I know of (105) GH fans that won’t be watching
    this or any thing else on W until GH
    comes Back…..
