DirecTV have sent me some photos of the new season of Damages as an Australian exclusive, which is just a little bittersweet…
It’s great to have some pics, but now I just want to see the darn show!
Two years after the Tobin case, Ellen has moved on with her life. Now an attorney at her old mentor’s firm, she’s content with her cases and colleagues. Deep down, however, she wants a bigger challenge. When she discovers her friend has been through a traumatic experience while working for High Star, a private security firm hired by the U.S. government to carry out special missions in Afghanistan, she suspects foul play and asks Patty for help. Patty knows that trying a case against High Star can make Ellen’s career. Or ruin it.
The new season starts in the US on July 13 with Glenn Close bringing back that diabolical Patty Hewes and Rose Byrne ready to hold her own as Ellen Parsons once more.
They are joined this season by John Goodman, Dylan Baker, Chris Messina, Judd Hirsch, Fisher Stevens, Griffin Dunne, Julie White, Bailey Chase and Derek Webster.
So far there is no Australian premiere date.

I have probably missed some updates but can anyone tell me what happened to the GEM (or was it GO)2PM Damages screenings.
Do international networks ever give you access to streams or even screeners, David?
Occasionally, depends on the show. In fact FX air-freighted me premiere ep of Damages S1 before it aired in the US.
Can’t wait for the new season. Rose looks amazing!
