  1. Well done ten/one. I watched the race live tonight and it was great to see it. And great call huddo. Certainly enhanced your chances for getting a gig in 2012 given ten are not covering afl. It will interesting to see the ratings for the show that followed this race on one.

  2. Steph Rice qualified fastest for the 200m Individual Medley the other night and was a chance at winning gold so why wasn’t that shown live. Also if one of the Aussie women qualifies fastest for the 100m freestyle will they do the same?

  3. What a complete backflip here! Someone does good and then all of a sudden schedules are moved. This should have been Live on ONE from the start of the week. Poor form TEN it really is.

  4. @deedeedragons, not really, he’s only just come onto the scene in the last 12 months and given the lack of interest in swimming lately from its broadcast partner…

  5. That is absolutely pathetic by ONE. They should have shown the whole champs live, now they just look like even bigger fools to just show 10 minutes because an Aussie is swimming for gold. What the rest of the team don’t matter?

  6. Wow Ten really have their priorities in the right order. That if you could not tell was me being sarcastic. Anyway this move is nothing more than a hollow gesture to the swimming and sports fans alike. Like many have already stated in previous stories on this subject, the 2011 FINA world championships should be Live on ONE around the nation not hugely delayed. What should have happened is that FINA should have given each countries swimming association the task to sell the tv rights of the world championships to that countries media and then if it got picked up both FINA and the swimming associations in each country would share the money. That way we would be assured of better coverage and FINA would still get more money, ok not as much but still more. Oh well i guess thats just wishful thinking.

  7. I honestly do not understand this, When ch9 had the right they use to broadcast it live in
Primetime and it rated quite well. Why is ch10 wasting this content??
