Celebrity Apprentice rumours

More names are emerging as possible contenders for Celebrity Apprentice Australia.

More names are emerging as potential candidates on Nine’s upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia.

The Sunday Telegraph speculates they will include The Footy Show‘s Shane Crawford, feminist Germaine Greer, actor Lincoln Lewis, and The Block‘s Polly Porter.

Last week Pauline Hanson was rumoured to be on the list.

Popster Peter Andre, former politician Mark Latham and ex-medico Geoffrey Edelsten are supposedly now out of contention.

Former AFL player player Brendan Fevola and former NSW Premier Kristina Keneally are also believed to have been approached, but won’t be appearing.

The series will be fronted by Mark Bouris and produced by FremantleMedia Australia.

  1. Here is a list of celebrities I like to see…

    * Rowena Wallace (All you need to do is provide her a house)
    * Abigail (A new veil will do)
    * Melissa Tkautz (Let her make her 3rd (lost count) music comeback during the show)
    * Deni Hines (Her record career is gone. She might as well join her mum on TV)
    * Marcia Hines (No more idol. This could be a new career move)
    * Bruce Samazan (Couldn’t sing nor act.. Perhaps he has some business sense)
    * David Dixon (Left successful Indecent Obsession to dress up as Jesus and star on Home & Away)

    And finally..

    * Collette (She can bring out her awful clothing that would have Lady Gaga crying in shame)

  2. I’d watch it if Polly was on it and I believe she does have some type of business mangement type background so she wouldn’t really be out of place in the setting. However, I wouldn’t call her a celebrity, sure I think she is a very entertaining person to watch but I wouldn’t consider her a celebrity. But what you have to remember is that with Tv shows like this you aren’t going to be able to get A list full on celebrities because they are otherwise engaged doing the things that actually make them a celebrity.

  3. ex footy player(shane), ex soapie actor (lincon), ex politcian (pauline). No wonder these people are said to be going on the show….they are all unemployed and need a job!

  4. The Original series was actually very good- only the timeslot killed it.
9:30PM on a Monday night against Criminal Minds (I think) was not a smart move.
I really couldn’t care for the celebrity version- put on some real people who I will enjoy watching and maybe then I will give it a go.

  5. I knew it. I just knew it. Nine are using their stable of so called stars. Wont be watching this now. Its just pathetic really. Polly from the block? Seriously? Thats how low you go? Nup this is wrong.

  6. I predict this will be a dog. The first Aussie season of The Apprentice had fairly unremarkable ratings and I don’t think this will be any more appealing.
