63rd Primetime Emmy Awards: guide

Updated: Your guide to nominees, presenters, broadcast times for America's big night for the small screen.

On Monday morning Australian viewers will get to see the Emmy Awards live to air on FOX8 from 10am AEST.

Hosted by Glee‘s Jane Lynch it will be produced by Reality producer Mark Burnett.

Lynch told the Hollywood Reporter, “Mark has allowed me to have input every step of the way. My good friend Jill Soloway (United States of Tara, Six Feet Under) is the head writer of this thing. My sensibilities and hers are in line. I felt really confident and safe, and I love what we’ve come up with so far. I know that I could go to Mark with anything and say, “I’m not comfortable with this,” but it would never get to that point.”

  1. My tips: Laura Linney, Steve Carell, Ty Burrell, Jane Lynch, Steve Buscemi, Juliana Marguiles, Alan Cuming, Kellie McDonald – Modern Family (comedy) Boardwalk Empire (drama) Mildred Pierce (mini series) Kate WInslet, Edgar Ramirez.

  2. The last time fox hosted the emmy’s was the year that they got 4 reality TV hosts to host it and it was a complete train smash from start to finish…so, it cant be any worse than that : )

  3. Was it necessary for Jane Lynch to be carried by a bunch of paint-sprayed men? It just looks like an uncomfortable shot… And I feel like it’s trying to put her back in the closet… Regardless of her sexuality, we shouldn’t need this sort of promotions anyway. Think of something new!
