On Monday morning Australian viewers will get to see the Emmy Awards live to air on FOX8 from 10am AEST.
Hosted by Glee‘s Jane Lynch it will be produced by Reality producer Mark Burnett.
Lynch told the Hollywood Reporter, “Mark has allowed me to have input every step of the way. My good friend Jill Soloway (United States of Tara, Six Feet Under) is the head writer of this thing. My sensibilities and hers are in line. I felt really confident and safe, and I love what we’ve come up with so far. I know that I could go to Mark with anything and say, “I’m not comfortable with this,” but it would never get to that point.”

My tips: Laura Linney, Steve Carell, Ty Burrell, Jane Lynch, Steve Buscemi, Juliana Marguiles, Alan Cuming, Kellie McDonald – Modern Family (comedy) Boardwalk Empire (drama) Mildred Pierce (mini series) Kate WInslet, Edgar Ramirez.
Not really interested as Lauren graham was sunbed yet again!
P.S. the previous comment was for you David. Just to make it clearer.
You should check out Deadline Hollywood they mention others also presenting. Like Anna Torv (Fringe ) , Hugh Laurie and David Boreanaz among many more.
@Man.
Thanks and
phew!
@pietro
holy sh*t i didnt notice that till you mentioned it but jane lynch and glen close look very similar in that pic
The last time fox hosted the emmy’s was the year that they got 4 reality TV hosts to host it and it was a complete train smash from start to finish…so, it cant be any worse than that : )
Was it necessary for Jane Lynch to be carried by a bunch of paint-sprayed men? It just looks like an uncomfortable shot… And I feel like it’s trying to put her back in the closet… Regardless of her sexuality, we shouldn’t need this sort of promotions anyway. Think of something new!
I want a copy of that photo for my desktop – awesome 🙂
If that’s Glenn Close in the picture I’ll never be able to look at Damages in the same way again.
