  1. @Butters: Season 4 DVD/Bluray is released in the US on October 5th (i have preordered).

Australian release date hasnt been confirmed yet. Most online retailers dont even have a placeholder for it yet on their sites. That to me suggests that its a while off.

  2. Really enjoy this show, but it’s time to bring it to an end.

It’s one of those shows that suffered because it never had certainty.

From rushing plotlines because the future of the show was in doubt. To seasons extended mid run stuffing up long term plots.

That’s the problem, it’s a show which suffered from the uncertainty which then leads to the uncertainty. Vicious circle.

  3. Still waiting for Season 4 to show up on free to air or local DVD.

Seems the only legal way to see it if you don’t have Foxtel is to fork out the obscene amount of $71.76 to get the season from iTunes. May have to import the DVD again.

  4. Yes I know it’s the final season, and a good thing they are marketing it that way from the outset. No wondering if the show will be renewed or fan out rage when it’s ‘cancelled’.

The last 13 eps should be fantastic if the promo is any guide.

  5. Unfortunately Craig, this is the last season of Chuck.

13 more episodes to go and the show is finished for good. NBC renewed it and pushed it to the Friday night (deadzone) spot in its schedule with the specific message that it wouldnt be renewed any more.

That said… I cannot wait for it to air. I am so excited, a little bit of wee might come out just before it airs.

I just wish that 9 hadnt onsold this to Foxtel and kept it (and aired it properly) on GO!.

  6. I posted the trailer on the FOX8 Facebook page this morning asking them to show it sooner rather then later as it is one of their best first-aired shows (now that I think of it, one of very few U.S. FTA shows shown before Aust. FTA).
