  1. The Season 10 DVD comes out in North America in November I believe and you can also get a 10 season boxed set, but whether they’ll release that in Australia under a blu-ray boxed set, is hard to say.

  2. As with most readers, I’ve also already seen it, as it took far too long to screen Eleven should’ve screened both seasons 8 and 9 in double episodes, not just season 8.

  3. this is good news cause since we were behind on seasons 8 and 9 and the dvds were released before they aired on 11 so now we actually get to see a season before the dvd is released for once. I believe they aired season 7 on Ten HD and then released the dvds but after that WB Australia couldn’t wait any longer I guess. by releasing the dvds early theres less of a chance of people tuning in since they can obtain them from video stores.

  4. Excellent news, I was thinking we wouldn’t even get it late at night straight after season 9 and would have to wait ages. But it starting shortly after and getting a timeslot boost is great news.

  5. Wait there’s some Smallville news on the site again?!? Thanks David. 🙂

On the actual news I’ve mixed feelings about it. On one hand I’m very happy they’ve hopefully chosen a reliable weekday timeslot. Also I got my original wish of pairing Smallville and Supernatural. But I’ll admit I’m not too pleased it’s Monday because the ABC likes to repeat Q&A at 5am. And I’ve never been able to record them this century. Last century no problem. Also I need sleep sometimes. I guess I’ll try Smallville however. I hope it rates and at least the DVDs aren’t out even in North America.

    @ angelsgal

I agree with you on Thursday being a better time although I wouldn’t have had a problem with 9.30pm.

    @ Josh

Season 9 is out on DVD. If you have a library they might be able to get it or you could try to get it cheap. Sometimes it can be less than $25-30 at some stores.

  6. Finally. When S8 double episodes was moved to 10.30, I missed most episodes since I fell asleep already. Luckily my council library had already got the DVD in their catalogue. Wishing Chuck could be moved to FTA, any FTA channel will do.

  7. @ Josh

I’d imagine there’d be a set amount of time Fox8 is contracted to wait between the end of its FTA airing and when Fox is allowed to start showing it. Eleven just finished the season so it could be a couple of months wait.

  8. Yay i love this show, glad its got a good timeslot. i always thought they should of tried it at 8.30 thurs when 11 was 1st announced. Most likely will air after fast-tracked supernatural on Monday so extra Yay
