This week, the best episode so far this season.

Let’s not give too much away about this week’s episode of The Big C, called “The Little C.”
Suffice to say it’s best episode so far this season, with some terrific exchanges between the key characters.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Laura Linney scores an Emmy for her role tomorrow.
This episode airs 10:30pm Monday on GEM.

I just watched tonight’s episode, and i do agree, it was the best episode of the season
@Natasha I do keep watching because I oddly do enjoy it most times, I just don’t get all the love people seem to have for it. I tend to think they probably want to love it more because of the fantastic cast it has assembled. The subject matter is interesting, the concept of following a lead character dying, I just think it fails in a lot of the execution…
richard, why do you watch it if you think it is “disappointing and on the whole kind of drag??” I think it is amazing – i look forward to it every week.
Honestly this show falls very short given the cast involved. It’s trying to be a lot cleverer than it ever is, which is very disappointing.
Don’t get me wrong I still watch it; it has moments that are great but on the whole its kind of a drag – just like terminal cancer.
Great acting all round in this show. Linney is always superb, but the best of the best is one Oliver Platt. Genius and hilarious.
Considering the subject matter this show leaves me feeling uplifted. Love it.
Thanks, David. I’ll look fwd to it even more than usual. Agree that Linney is a standout but she has a good supporting cast, too. It’s similar to The US of Tara in that regard. Neither series appeals to mainstream audiences but they’re both excellent.
Thanks David, I just have to say this is one terrific little show. The acting is superb and I hope that Laura Linney wins the Emmy; she deserves to.
