Auditions: Making Couples Happy

Are you a (Sydney-based) couple wanting to improve a stale relationship?

ABC1 series factual series Making Australia Happy going before the cameras again, this time as Making Couples Happy.

The series will follow a cross section of Australian couples who are having difficulties in their relationship, or feel that their life together has become stale.

Over the course of eight weeks, couples will receive practical advice to transform their relationship from experienced, qualified experts. They will learn relationship skills that will benefit both them and members of the audience who are facing similar difficulties.

The show is interested in talking to any couples – young or old, straight or gay – who want to make a genuine commitment to improving their relationship, but they must be Sydney based.

    the invisible bisexual, the open relationship, the non-sexual primary relationships.
    come on, use those tax dollars to portray the breadth and variance of relationships in australia, especially with sydney as a backdrop.

    How many single households now exist? aren’t the numbers rising? hmmm where are the breadth of these peoples primary relationships portrayed.

    Curiously waiting to see if this will be a herd of self obsessed aspirational sydney siders “just wanting the best out of life”. Or could it display and legitimise the range of primary relationships present, and tools to effectively build primary relationships of longevity, beyond the socially prescribed norms of archaic marriage and pseudo-marriage.

  2. It’s not a dating show, Deedeedragons, it’s an observational documentary.
    I quite liked “Making Australia Happy”, so I’m looking forward to how this turns out.
