  1. I found the pilot of Secret Circle mediocre…switched it off after 20 minutes. Compared to The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural it just didn’t seem strong enough.

I agree Ringer and Person of Interest have been great so far. Terra Nova seems promising but then again so did Flashforward at first…

this show looks pretty good from the trailer, I’m willing to give it a shot

  2. @Napdav

I know what you’re saying… funny though Camelot was only pulled off screen a few weeks ago yet it’s already available on DVD. At least Seven have demonstrated they are willing to stick with a show even after being cancelled i.e Criminal Minds Suspect.

  3. @Jack! Will have to check those other ones out…I trust your TV likes over the past few years!

I work part time and seriously watch too much TV as it is! How do people do it???

  4. Mmm, not sure about this? Despite the production design, which looks pretty though not unlike anything we’ve seen before. Alas…all very clean, middle american and cgi- ish.

  5. @ Marco: Yes… Ringer, Secret Circle have me hooked …. also Terra Nova is brilliant!
Pan Am is amazing and I am really hanging for Grimm and Once Upon A Time!

  6. @ Napdav: Absolutely agree … anything with a bit of creativiety gets treated like **** and all they want is to play “safe” (boring) with the endless same-same US crime dramas and lame US comedies….
Enterprise should have had another two or three years, season 4 was mile better than season three and it was just hitting it’s stride!
In general, Aus TV really does suck for choice and variety!

  7. @Regan. Yes, Enterprise did. As has Torchwood. My point is that Australian FTA Networks treat these sort of shows – and the viewers – with complete contempt. If it isn’t local banal, overwrought suburban ‘drama’ or badly stylised ‘historical’ attempts – OZ FTA will bury and move a show of any interest to the point where even finding it in the schedule is a pointless exercise.

  8. Looks awesome, so many interesting new shows this season…and so continues my failure to commit to my promise not to invest in any new shows…Person of Interest, Secret Circle and Ringer have already sucked me in! American Horror Story looks good too…

  9. @napday- what are you talking about? Star Trek: Enterprise went for four years and had a story line that was properly and neatly wrapped up at the end of the series.

  10. If it’s on FTA here then don’t start watching. It’ll suffer the fate of Torchwood, Camelot, Stargate Universe, Star Trek Enterprise, Eureka….blah blah blah……

Oz TV sucks so very much…
