  1. What has happened to Episode 1 of S3?
I have bought S1 & S2 Box Sets of MF,I might as well just wait for S3 to be released as TEN are complete Idiots (I need to shout David as all these changes are driving me bonkers)

  2. This should be a monster hit for ten, as it is for ABC, but thanks to their moving it all over the schedule and endless repeats, it’s getting lost in their woeful schedule!

  3. I heard Chris Brown say on the radio that this week’s episode of Bondi Vet is the season finale. Did Ten just have three episodes unscreened from earlier in the year and just dumped them on Wednesday nights? If so, this is another example of erratic scheduling and programming. After this week we may have double eps of Modern Family on Wednesday nights too.

  4. David, I just saw an advert for the new episode and it was set at a Dude Ranch, which is the name of the first episode. So maybe they’re not showing the second episode after all?

  5. No surprise why so many shows on Ten have failed or are failing. Whoever is making these programming decisions has no idea what they are doing. There is no forward planning past next week. There is no flow in programming across a night. Why would you put a new episode of Modern Family against the hugely popular The Big Bang Theory on Nine? Why would you start season three at episode two? Why would you put factuals on Ten against established factuals on Nine? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

  6. Modern Family is so much better than TBBT, yet it only gets half the ratings. How are people meant to keep up with the new episodes? And what’s with starting at S3 Episode 2? Ten have treated MF horribly. So many timeslot changes, the debacle when they returned it a couple of months ago and suddenly moved it from 8pm to 7:30pm, with little warning. S3 should’ve been fast-tracked last month, continuing on from the end of S2.

  7. See, now I thought it had already started a few months back, but oh no, they were episodes from Season 2 that had been kept for some strange reason and only just played …give me strength! It is so hard to follow free to air shows, no wonder I just wait til the box set comes out…epic fail, yet again free to air!!!!

  8. I lost total interest in this after they kept going at repeats of S1. I think some shows in the US don’t always start with ep1. They might have filmed or animated the 1st ep but, they show ep2. 1st instead.

  9. Ten you bloody idiots. This is why Modern Family, one of the best comedy on tv, is failing to rate. They shove new eps on with no warning, they start from the second episode instead of ep one, it’s not fasttracked, and they chop and change timeslots and repeats all the time.
Ten’s killed the show and Ten’s programmers need a kick up the backside.

  10. Idiots! There’s been no promotions for a new episode and the repeats on Tuesday nights have been struggling in the ratings. The new episode and a repeat should be on a Wednesday night. The network programmers are killing this brilliant program. Morons!
