Nickelodeon’s animated series The Fairly Odd Parents is brought to life in the network’s first ever live-action and CG-animated TV movie, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!
Starring Drake Bell (Drake & Josh) and Daniella Monet (Victorious), the hour-long original TV movie adaptation is from series creator Butch Hartman and also features Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Steven Weber (Parenthood).
A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! follows the adventures of a now 23-year-old Timmy Turner (Bell) who has refused to grow up in order to keep his wish-granting fairy godparents, Cosmo (played by Alexander and voiced by Daran Norris, The Fairly Odd Parents) and Wanda (played by Hines and voiced by Susanne Blakeslee, The Fairly Odd Parents). However, when the once gawkie now gorgeous Tootie (Monet) returns to town, Timmy’s pledge to stay a kid forever is put to the test when he finds himself having grown-up feelings for her. Timmy must choose to either stop acting like a child to be with Tootie or keep his beloved fairy godparents. Meanwhile, Hugh J. Magnate, Jr. (Weber), a larger-than-life oil tycoon, turns his attention to capturing Timmy’s fairies and using their power to fuel his evil ambition.
Sunday 6 November at 6pm on Nickelodeon.
