Jason Coleman survives another Celebrity Apprentice elimination

Jason Coleman survived another Boardroom elimination in Nine's Celebrity Apprentice, shaping up as the cat of nine lives.

Jason Coleman survived another Boardroom elimination in Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice, his second this week, as Lisa Curry was fired.

Team Unity was back before boss Mark Bouris after losing a P&O Cruises challenge but with just three team members, including Shane Crawford, it was a testy Boardroom scene.

Curry and Coleman clashed throughout the challenge, with Coleman questioning his Project Manager’s directions.

Curry, who had been absent during the planning stages, was told by Mr. Bouris she hadn’t led her team.

But Curry claimed Coleman set her up.

In the Boardroom Coleman defended his contribution with several claims about honour, integrity, his family name and a few tears.

Having survived an elimination between Max Markson and Didier Cohen he is shaping up as the cat of nine lives.

Last night on Twitter Coleman was attracting a lot of negative comment for supposedly throwing Curry “under the bus,” fella.

So far Nine’s show has been attracting good ratings and high social media engagement. It’s shaping up as deserving of a renewal -but can we please have rank and file apprentices next year?

  1. Poor little Lisa Curry! Tell her to get over herself, she’s best stay in swimming where she belongs, she certainly can’t manage people at all. Much prefer Jason Coleman, Curry needs to learn to work with people.

  2. I totally get Jason Coleman’s reaction to Lisa Curry. She gave him the job of creative director and promptly disappeared. He got on with the job and when she told him no, he asked for direction from her. She chose to take it as a personal attack when it was Jason just trying to get the job done. He has real integrity and understood that the crowds would need to be entertained. He backed off and left it to her and there was no entertainment. Coleman has no capacity to ambush someone while Curry sees backstabbing where there is none. Curry was the right person to fire!!!

  3. Let’s not forget that the previous night, Jason was the only one to tell Max off for the cocaine thing. And he had been a good supporter in earlier challenges. Fair enough to get confused about his authority with the project manager AWOL for all the planning.

That said, he’s still a control freak. The whale running gag was hilarious, but it did illustrate the point that he didn’t want to listen to other ideas.

  4. I suppose it’s good for TV and for – we now have it in for Jason so much (well who wouldn’t – what a snivelling little egocentric rat) that we will keep watching until be gets canned!!! Bring it on.

  5. I am very pleasantly surprised at how good this show has turned out. Casting has never been 9’s strongpoint in this kind of thing but they’ve nailed it here.

  6. I think the producers has chosen the perfect cast for this show. The mix of unlikeable, funny, and tragic contestants makes for great entertainment. I certainly don’t have a high opinion of Jason Coleman after last night.

  7. I don’t understand why these ‘celebrities’ agree to go on this show when they can’t stick to the schedule. Half of the cast last night have at one point or another skipped on a challenge or elimination due to prior commitments. I know it’s all for charity but come on people, if you’re too busy to film the show then don’t go on it.

As for fella Coleman.. he’ll get the Logie for best actor next year. How could he start the water works twice in the board room and then be stone face outside of it telling Lisa that he can sleep well at night with her going.

  8. Goes to show you how egotistical and ruthless you need to be, to become or remain a ‘celebrity’. This is one reality show where the celebrity edition is better than the pleb edition. 😛

  9. I’m no fan of Jason in the first place but Lisa really should have gone.

She has not been there for 2 challenges! and she goes and puts her hand up as project manger for the latest one and then just leaves for some “important” business? What her toy boy ran out of clean clothes?

  10. I just dont get what happened to Lisa. One minute they are in the car then she gets a phone call says she has to go and disappears. I get obviously something came up but it just looked awkward.

It was funny though when Shane just wanted a whale and Jason kept ignoring him then next minute Shane says I got my whale isnt it great. The lady from P&O even liked it.

I just cant believe its nearly finished. It just seems like it started. I only watch the challenge episodes and dont really bother with the elimination. Ocassionally I flick.

  11. Jason was telling Lisa how much he liked and respected her and at the same time had a huge knife hiden behind his back. I don’t think he could work for any project leader. What goes round…

  12. Do not like him.
464 or 454 shows this year??
That is over 1.6 shows per day every day so far this year including weekends and public holidays and days doing this show..
    What a busy boy.

  13. Why on earth would you want ‘rank and file apprentinces’ next year?

    Boring!

Bring on the has-beens and wanna-be celebs again! That’s way more entertaining than a bunch of earnest boring business types.

  14. he’s placing himself in the same category as Deni Hines, delusional, arrogant etc. However he was a little too big for his boots on SYTYCD also. So it’s not the first time.
