The Big C season finale

If you're a fan of The Big C then don't miss the season finale on Monday.

If you’re a fan of The Big C then don’t miss the season finale which airs at 10:30pm Monday on GEM.

It’s a gobsmacking episode to this under-rated show starring Laura Linney.

In the second season finale, Lee’s passing has a profound effect on Cathy, and she decides on a special way to ring in the New Year. Meanwhile, continued financial woes lead Paul to try a different tack with the insurance company.

Can’t say any more…

  1. One of the best shows on TV at the moment and my favourite. This season has been as fantastic as season 1 and I recommend you don’t miss a minute of tonights finale. Not sure about when S2 will be released on DVD but yes it has been renewed for a 3rd season.

  2. This show is just brilliant. It has similarity to Packed to the Rafters in that both are stories about a family. That is where it ends though as the Big C makes PTF look like a primary schoool production.

  3. This brilliant show is totally wasted on Gem!!! I just cannot understand why Channel 9 did not put this show in prime time!!! Another great programming strategy!!!! Does anybody know when season 2 will be released on dvd and will there be a season 3?????????????????????

  4. You would think Nine would have the brains to put this on at a prime time slot on GEM and make it a flagship show along with Weeds. As it is the network is pretty much a repeat of all of Nine’s drama shows.

  5. It really is an incredible show, and it breaks my heart that hardly anyone seems to know it exists. The entire cast is great, especially Laura Linney and Oliver Platt. This season has been one of my favourite things on TV this year and the finale is an amazing episode. A must watch for fans of great television.

  6. Agree, have enjoyed The Big C very much and Linney is great as always, but she’s supported by a good main cast and an intelligent script. Will be sorry to see this end.

  7. I love this show, it’s such a shame it doesn’t reach a wider audience. Last weeks episode was so touching with Lee’s death, I can’t wait for the season final this week.
