Fans of Modern Family will see a different side to Eric Stonestreet in Tuesday night’s episode of American Horror Story.
He’s playing a dramatic rather than a comedic role, as a patient of Ben’s (Dylan McDermott).
Ben treats a patient obsessed with the urban legend of Piggy Man. Meanwhile, Constance brings in a medium to deal with the spirits that haunt her, Vivien begins a new diet, and Violet discovers the truth about Tate.
Stonestreet had done plenty of dramatic guest roles on television before his infectious role on Modern Family, but most would not have enjoyed the same profile.
American Horror Story looks set to be continuing right through the festive season, with no weeks off yet scheduled.
9:30pm Tuesday on ELEVEN.

Do eleven have plans at all to rerun American Horry Story? This show started with very little promotion, and was on the same time as a couple of other things, so I havn’t had a chance to see it yet.
Nothing announced. They had a go with An Idiot Abroad from ONE to TEN but that failed. Wilfred wasn’t replayed on ELEVEN yet. Chances are slim….
Brilliant TV series…
Great series and a great actor!
