Home And Away actor faces court

Home And Away cast member Dan Ewing yesterday faced Manly Local Court charged with assaulting fiance Marni Little.

Police alleged Ms Little suffered superficial injuries to her arm after attending their Fairlight home earlier this month.

The court heard Ewing, 26, intended to plead not guilty to one charge of common assault.

But the couple appear to have reconciled any differences with Ms Little telling the court she considered the police documentation of the night to be “incorrect”.

The Daily Telegraph reports the court was told Ms Little was willing to give evidence that there had been no assault or physical contact and that she wanted the interim AVO that police had applied for on her behalf to be removed.

Ewing will now face a hearing at Manly Local Court on January 31.
