Giants by 3 and will be watching it on ESPN. RIP ONE HD
NE Pariots
Why would you bother putting delayed coverage on the main ten channel. Mind Boggling
Hope she does not have a wardrobe malfunction
So no pre-game like last year? They had around 4 hours pre-game from Fox. Would really love to see the NBC pre-game too.
I recall it’s ESPN who take the world feed/commentary. ONE use the U.S network feed/commentary.
I’ve already booked a day off for Superbowl Monday. It would be nice to get the US commentary (which we get for every other game during the year), but we usually get the world feed.
Trust me, atleast one of the networks here have been actively trying to get the rights to the Superbowl ads to show during the game the same time as the U.S.
Forget the Super Bowl ads, they are one Youtube within hours. One’s coverage has been pretty good, no cringeworthy hosts who know nothing about the game.
one of the ads supposidly has Matthew Broderick playing Ferris Bueller.
For most of the year people complain that there’s too many advertisments in Television, then come Super Bowl time they complain wer’e not getting the “right adverstiments”
I don’t care how “good” they are supposed to be, who really wants to watch commercials from another country where prices and products are different and the networks make zero money by showing them.
Should be a great Giants victory, pity about the half time show though…
Good that this is live and free, not that I’m interested in the game and of course we won’t get to see the ads on TV which are probably better than the game.
Maybe someone should do a special on just the ads?
@Blazza – it’s live on One.
Glad that ONE is showing the NFL on tv.
Will be watching it at either Turf Bar or the sports bar in Crown Casino. A lot more fun as most people come in their NFL gear.
Wish ONE would some of the NBA and NHL games. Airlines is such a boring show.
why do people every year ask about the superbowl ads and if they will show them.
no they wont and they never will. find the ads on the net the next day.
in other news its typical of our tv networks not to air things live outside of sydney and melbourne
I love Super bowl … @sifter agree very glad ONE has kept up coverage…
Giants all the way here’s hoping to a great game
Will be watching on ESPN….
Madonna???, Wasn’t Meatloaf available!! 🙂
Most of the US ads would be illegal to screen here (specifically medical ones). Ten in the past have anchored their own coverage and showed delayed and edited versions of some of them – but I’d rather just watch clean coverage of the football itself than the ads.
Do we get to see the Super Bowl commercials as well? I’ll be watching for Madonna only. Would anyone else be watching a repeat of a live game if not for the half time entertainment?
Hurrah! I’ve been pleasantly surprised that ONE has kept up their NFL coverage. Definitely helps that the live games happen in the early morning/midday. Otherwise it would have been turfed for recycled reality shows just to get that extra 1-2% share…Other sports haven’t been so lucky.
ESPN (& ESPN HD) has it live too.
Probably the last ever FTA showing of the NFL the way things are going… Giants by 10…
It would be amazing if they screened it complete with ads in tact. Most of the fun of the Superbowl is the ads.
