  1. I’ve already booked a day off for Superbowl Monday. It would be nice to get the US commentary (which we get for every other game during the year), but we usually get the world feed.

  2. Forget the Super Bowl ads, they are one Youtube within hours. One’s coverage has been pretty good, no cringeworthy hosts who know nothing about the game.

  3. For most of the year people complain that there’s too many advertisments in Television, then come Super Bowl time they complain wer’e not getting the “right adverstiments”

I don’t care how “good” they are supposed to be, who really wants to watch commercials from another country where prices and products are different and the networks make zero money by showing them.

  4. Good that this is live and free, not that I’m interested in the game and of course we won’t get to see the ads on TV which are probably better than the game.

Maybe someone should do a special on just the ads?

  5. Glad that ONE is showing the NFL on tv.
Will be watching it at either Turf Bar or the sports bar in Crown Casino. A lot more fun as most people come in their NFL gear.
Wish ONE would some of the NBA and NHL games. Airlines is such a boring show.

  6. why do people every year ask about the superbowl ads and if they will show them.
no they wont and they never will. find the ads on the net the next day.
in other news its typical of our tv networks not to air things live outside of sydney and melbourne

  7. Most of the US ads would be illegal to screen here (specifically medical ones). Ten in the past have anchored their own coverage and showed delayed and edited versions of some of them – but I’d rather just watch clean coverage of the football itself than the ads.

  8. Do we get to see the Super Bowl commercials as well? I’ll be watching for Madonna only. Would anyone else be watching a repeat of a live game if not for the half time entertainment?

  9. Hurrah! I’ve been pleasantly surprised that ONE has kept up their NFL coverage. Definitely helps that the live games happen in the early morning/midday. Otherwise it would have been turfed for recycled reality shows just to get that extra 1-2% share…Other sports haven’t been so lucky.
