Former QTQ9 News Director Lee Anderson, who resigned following 2011’s now-infamous Choppergate scandal, is back at the station contributing to the channel’s state election coverage.
The role is temporary according to a Nine spokeswoman, with Mike Dalton remaining as News Director.
Anderson was on leave in August when the live crosses occurred but took responsibility for them and resigned. Since then he has worked briefly for News Limited.

All forgotten. Ratings back to No 1
“Is there no shame?”
This is the Nine Network, so no.
A bit odd that the opener says “Queensland” whereas the NSW one says “Sydney”. ??
Is there no shame?
