Sacked Wiggle Sam Moran may have more reason to smile soon.
The outpouring of support for the former Wiggle has made him hot property, while his former castmates have become a hot potato.
Networks are said to be lining up for networks clamouring his side of the story. So far he has maintained a dignified silence.
His manager Titus Day has also resisted sharing the finer details.
Now there is speculation he may dance his way onto Dancing with the Stars.
Tim Brooke-Hunt, ABC TV executive head of children’s television, said he was open to the idea of developing a show with Moran but had not been approached.
Nickelodeon Australia general manager Ben Richardson said it would consider screening a show featuring Moran.

I have been told from an ch 7 insider that former Bardot member Sally Polihronas is set to be a contestant.

Don’t get all the controversy at all. I’ve been made redundant before & that wasn’t reported. Who cares really……
He should create his own children’s group.. take the Wiggles on head on..
They will have to change the name of the show to Dancing With The Axed Stars!
Re DWTS – as long as a contestant hasn’t had Ballroom dancing experience they are fine.
DWTS has never held back on casting people with dancing experience. Jamie durie, nicki Webster, Jennifer Hawkins, Toby Allen, Tim Campbell, Tamara Jaber just to mention a few were all accomplished dancers. Nicki had been taking dance lessons since she was 3 or something. Overseas Nicole Scherzinger, who had a very fruitful career as a professional dancers was cast and won. I don’t think it’s ever been a guideline of the franchise it’s just what people assumed.
yeah I agree with Bindi, he’s too advantaged to be on this show, although how can you resist the publicity…?
I on’t think he love songs are all that chart topping with all due respect from someone who can’t sing, so maybe this show could open more doors for him anyway.
I think dignified silence is the best approach…..and Sam was doing his own music even while he was with the Wiggles….I have his cd The Colour of Love.
DWTS would be stupid not to sign him, if he’s interested.

Without wishing to insult any of the competitors that have appeared on the show, Sam’s a pretty accomplished dancer and singer so I think he’d be wasted. Unless he used it to launch himself into a solo on air career …
I was under the impression Sam was keen to get back to doing adult music anyway…
boring already. you ever wonder what all the kids are thinking. nothing, they’re not so low brow to worry if Sam is paid $200k (or whatever). I guess kids have priorities sorted right compared to grown ups
I thought the idea of dancing with the stars was to get stars who didn’t know how to dance and teach them through a pairing with a professional, surely he knows how to dance and would have an advantage. (I don’t watch the show so don’t know if they have previously used celebrities who can dance.)
