Crownies’ Daniel Lissing is the latest Aussie actor to land himself a US role, having been cast in the US pilot Last Resort.
The drama, from writer Shawn Ryan (The Shield, The Chicago Code), revolves around the crew of a U .S. nuclear submarine who, after ignoring an order to fire nuclear missiles, wind up being hunted and escape to a NATO outpost where they declare themselves to be the world’s smallest nuclear nation.
Lissing will play James King, a longtime Navy SEAL officer and lethal killer in his 30s with ‘an ex-wife, ex-children and ex-life and no ties back home.’
Last Resort is in development for the US ABC network with Casino Royale director Martin Campbell attached to helm the pilot.
Lissing played Conrad De Groot in the ABC1 legal drama, which will return in a spin-off format by producers Screentime.

I think you will find the role of Dougie was played by Daniel after Diarmid.
Daniel is very cute, and so is Dougie the pizza guy 🙂
The fact that you were able to recite the name of the “dougie” actor just 8 minutes after the question was asked disturbs me greatly.
Does Google disturb you too? I needed that for the spelling.
Is that dougie the pizza hut guy?
No, that was Diarmid Heidenreich.
