Keiynan Lonsdale joins MTV

MTV Australia has announced Keiynan Lonsdale as its newest VJ and full time presenter.

He joins alongside Erin McNaught in a variety of on and off air roles.

The singer, dancer and actor has appeared in All Saints, Dance Academy plus My High School Musical, and FAME The Musical.

Lonsdale filled in for Erin McNaught on MTV News, as a co-host at MTV Summer in 2011 on stage and host of the first recording of Local Produce. He recently conducted a Q&A session for media with visiting Geordie Shore stars Sophie and James at MTV HQ.

Lonsdale said: “I’ve performed on stages, in studios and to crowds before but nothing has been as exciting as joining MTV as a VJ. I’ve grown up watching, dancing and singing along to artists on MTV so to have the opportunity to be part of the network is amazing. I can’t wait!”
