The Twitter account for Nine News sent out a tweet yesterday that probably wasn’t it’s finest moment.

“Nine Network a sinking ship -Kennerley” it said.

The comment was obviously referring to Kerri-Anne Kennerley’s harsh comments on the future of her former network, as she confirmed she had joined Seven.

Nine automatically picked up the tweet via it’s AAP news stories feeds.

Later in the day it had managed to delete it.

NineMSN also deleted the story.

  4. But why delete it?

    Sure… it’s not flattering to their Network but it is still news. Don’t those who watch or use Nine News deserve to hear all the news… not just what suits the Network?
