More reports today on the rumoured Brynne Edelsten television project indicate that Seven has secured the series.
Edelsten, who attracted considerable attention when she appeared on Dancing with the Stars last year, had meetings with several networks.
Seven is reportedly looking at a 10-part series capturing her life as a socialite.
Filming has been underway since last July, with Edelsten said to be “endearing and engaging.”
I hope it includes her excruciating Morning Show hosting with Lazza. Car crash telly!
Seven has previously featured the over-the-top wedding video invitation from Brynne and Geoffrey Edelsten during Today Tonight.

The Macquarie Dictionary recognises ‘snavel’ as a variant of ‘snaffle’, and that’s convenient because that’s the exact book I’d like to use to beat anyone who would willingly watch this series…
The years go quick as you get older but i’m sure were not in the month of April yet.
Let me know when it’s on so I can um, watch the grass grow.
Well I’ve been around for nearly 7 decades and I’ve never heard of ‘snavvel’. It’s ‘snaffle’, always was, always will be. Just because some ignoramous spelt it wrong at some stage, and others have just blindly copied it, doesn’t mean it’s correct.
It presumably has become ‘popular’ through frequent, albiet wrong, usage.
Re Brynne – spare us !
lol, good grief, snavvel has been around for more decades than some of you have lived… I could care less how many “online dictionaries” list alternate spelling that they’ve invented in the past few years
for crying out loud.and they wonder why people bag the network
Honestly… they reckon there is ten episodes they could get out of this woman? They’d be lucky to get ten minutes of interesting material.
And really if this was for a cable or digital channel I’d say fair enough, but this sort of fluff is destined for mainstream? The future of TV is looking even more bleak if that is the case.
Seven were bidding for this? Several networks were interested? Really?.
@Bazza – “snavvel” isn’t a word and “snavel” (or “snavvle”) is an Aus slang derivative of “snaffle” with a narrower definition than “snaffle”.
“Snaffle” is def the more common spelling (494,000 Google hits against 85,900 / 9,330 for “snavel”/”snavvle”).
More importantly, this is so far removed from what I consider to be entertainment. Who would want to make or watch something like this? We can’t be the same species.
Who?!
Sorry David, “Snaffles” is hardly the correct word!
It will be a lemon – if it ever4 sees the light of day.
I’ll watch this. Well give it a go. For me its a guilty pleasure to see how the other half lives. There was also a two page special on Geoffrey in The Financial Review last week, its still interesting how he makes his millions.
Aren’t socialites happy enough in their lives to not have their lives plastered all over network television?
Really?
Australian tv just hit rock bottom. And sadly the morons that watch Please Marry My Boy and Four Weddings, will no doubt watch this trash too. Death of Australian tv is near.
Erm, it’s snavvel, not snaffle…
And gee, aren’t Seven the lucky ones! [/sarcasm]
Online Dictionary shows both snaffle and snavvle are acceptable. Maybe it depends on where one went to school?
I’ve been expecting this, given the rage for shows like Real Housewives. Not surprised it will be on Seven, they are the Edelsten friendly network. I find her surprisingly endearing, so given the right slot it may do quite well.
