It isn’t yet clear where Sydney and Brissy viewers will catch up with the regular Thursday line-up.

In other news, earlier media reports that NRL would take precedence over Cricket on a clash on Friday March 2nd “live into all markets” were incorrect.

Cricket remains on Nine in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth followed by NRL at midnight. Sydney and Brisbane viewers can see the game on GEM.

  1. Great, so I get 2 weeks of Miami and then the rest of the countrue get it while we in Nsw & Qld miss out!! Stupid programming again 9!!!!!!! Miami gets treated like trash & it is one of the few shows that I try to watch!!

Also where is Harry’s Law & Mentalist??????

  2. Agree with MJL. 1am start for the opening game of the season is totally unacceptable. This definitely needs to be the last year Nine have the NRL. I’ve complained to the NRL about Nine Adelaide, and from the response, they ain’t too happy with Nine’s treatment in other states either. Nine need the NRL rights, but WIN is jeopardising their chances.

Seven can show AFL live on 7mate for non-AFL states. Seven can show tennis live on 7Two. Nine can show cricket live on Gem, so why the hell can’t they show NRL live on Gem for us in Adelaide???

  3. totally agree

nine have taken advantage of the NRL for too long…

Can’t even watch the game live in another “market”…

can’t wait till another network gets it and shows it live in melbourne

  4. I know this is a post about the NRL Footy Show, but I would love to see the AFL Footy Show on at 8:30pm instead of 9:30pm. Even start it at 9, so it’s definitely done by 10:30-10:45.
Sometimes it gets too late to stay up, after a long 4 days at work.

  5. Given the poor ratings for this show, how can they justify it continuing on the main channel? It should be moved to a digital like everything else that doesn’t rate on nine!
