DIdn’t Nine win demos on Saturday ?
Guy, the main reason why shows take a break at Easter and Christmas is because they don’t think they will get the same amount of viewers as they would in ratings. I actually think that MKR would get around the same amount of viewers in Easter, but Seven are obviously only worried about beating their competition and in non-ratings, they could do this without MKR.
@Andrew
They are not getting rid of it the Easter non ratings period begins in 3 weeks. There are 2 weeks left then a break then Seven rolls out its schedule for after Easter including Titanic, Downton, Dancing, Once, AGT and Criminal Minds plus continuing shows. So as much as MKR could continue it would almost be a waste of product in a period where it doesn’t need to air.
With Dancing returning and Australia’s Got Talent and the AFL, Seven will get stronger and stronger. Unbelievable.
They are getting rid of MKR early it seems with all the eliminations this week so can they keep winning the week without it?
If 9 won every week from now until the end of the year by 1% they still wouldn’t win.
8.1% lead is absolutely incredible. I actually think that despite Nine having all these new shows after Easter, it won’t help Nine win a week. Seven are just way too strong and believe it or not, I predict that they will be even stronger this week.
I think I see a pattern developing here LOL
Wow. Seven goes from strength to strength. In this market an 8.1% win is massive for the week. It just shows how dominant Seven is on the market at the moment. They will clearly be hard to beat all year.
