ASTRA Awards are almost On Demand
Pay TV's night of nights isn't live on the box, but there will be highlights On Demand.

It’s Pay TV’s night of nights as the ASTRA Awards take to Sydney Theatre tonight at Walsh Bay.
Last year’s “theatre style” event helped wipe the memories of 2009, which attracted some criticism for being too long and with some guests a little too happy from the food and drink.
But the event still doesn’t enjoy a live broadcast, which is disappointing given the Helpmann Awards are live on Foxtel, along with all the US Awards we love to catch.
If you’re really keen there will be Red Carpet footage and highlights available on the “Featured” section of the iQ On Demand from Monday June 25.
The free content will stay up for a week.
But Subscription TV should really be offering this as a Live event if it wants the audience to embrace it like other events.

I have never understood why this is not shown live…. It like they want to keep it hush hush for some reason….
If it’s not aired, what is the point of it..
