Facebook ban for Chris Lilley

Updated: Chris Lilley cops a Facebook ban after posting a photo of fan imitating Angry Boys "sneaky nuts" moment.

Updated: Chris Lilley has been banned by Facebook after posting a photo of an Angry Boys fan exposing a testicle.

The move came after someone complained about the “sneaky nuts” photo which imitated a running gag by Nathan, one of the teen characters in the ABC series.

On Twitter he said, “Banned from Facebook cause someone reported a nuts pic. Catch me on here, instagram @chrislilley and tumblr (nuts allowed).”

That subsequently spurred fans into a #FreeChrisLilleysNuts Twitter campaign.

Lilley’s Facebook page is still up but he has a 30 day ban from posting and a Facebook filter enforced.

  1. Facebook does have a rule about not posting photos containing nudity – so they did the right thing here when somebody reported it. I guess Lilley also forget the fact that all photos and information put on a Facebook pages are public and can be accessed by anybody.

  2. He posted the image on twitter just then that got him banned. It wasn’t anything from his show, but it was a user submitted image, that someone took of themselves/friends yet Chris got banned for it.
