Rove to open ASTRA Awards

Rove McManus will open next Thursday’s 10th Annual Astra Awards, subscription TV’s annual awards night at Sydney Theatre.

McManus is also a finalist in two categories, Most Outstanding Performance by a Presenter and Favourite Personality – Male, while Rove LA is nominated for Most Outstanding Light Entertainment Program.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who appears in CBeebies Story Time has been named as a presnter along with country music star Adam Brand.

Performer include Timomatic, Pete Murray and Sydney Dance Company while Didier Cohen will be playing DJ at the official after party.

More presenters are yet to be announced.
