A belated thanks for the update David. I’ll admit I watched the last episode plus the retrospective. They definitely found a good way to bring back characters that had died plus most of the rest with one exception. But I’ll admit it was a stupid timeslot. I guess as long as the advertisers let them get away with it that it’ll continue.
@Bazza: The first ep of House on Friday 10/8 at 9pm is a retrospective of the past 8 seasons, according to eBroadcast TV guide. The finale screens at 10pm.
According to the broadcast EPG for Ten there are two episodes airing August 1st, not one. Numerous other guides agree.
As at 9am 1/8/12, the broadcast EPG is showing Season 8 Episode 16 on at 8:30pm (actually 20:38) tonight and episode 17 on at 9:30pm (actually 21:35). Neither of these episodes has aired yet.
Following this it shows…
E18 on 2/8 at 9:30pm
E19 on 8/8 at 8:30pm
E20 on 8/8 at 9:30pm
At the moment, the EPG shows the second last episode (Holding On, S8E21) being on at 9:30pm Thursday August 9th. That would mean there’s only one episode left to air on Friday the 10th, though that date is not yet in the EPG.
As always, ymmv
Given Ten’s recent efforts….
I am afraid I won’t believe this story until August 10th.
Nothing against you, David 😉
Noticed that the Thursday episodes are pitted against the last two episodes of 7’s Grey’s Anatomy season 8.
House vs Grey’s Anatomy. Which medical show will win.
Bradley B, in regards to the final season of Numb3rs, you can watch it on DVD.
That’s what I did.
Ten must be the new night nurse as they seem to be taking the p!ss with that ridiculous schedule. I think that they switched off House’s life-support a long time ago, after initially contributing to his ailing state by bumping him all over the place. Putting the finale on a Friday night is just the final twist of the scalpel.
Any update on NCIS – they stopped playing that too, with a few episodes to go.
(Of course, still waiting for the last few episodes of Numb3rs – ten went through 3/4 of the last (unplayed) season 5-nights-per-week a few months ago, but then stopped just before the end…..)
Thanks David for the heads up! I’m glad TEN are finally getting it finished, and what better time than during the Olympics when ratings are out the window anyway.
Well at least Ten are finishing the show…not like Medium and Numb3rs. Just like Desperate Housewives, there are only a few viewers left who care about House, so it makes sense Ten are playing it out during the Olympics.
because i can’t write what i am thinking
@#@%^$#^&$&*&(^^%^%#%%^$%%^$
Really!!!!!! i realise it might not have rated for ten – but without this site i would have missed have of the show!!
Thanks for the heads up David.
According to their EPG there’s two episodes Wed Aug 1… One also at 20:30. Though as we know, 10’s EPG bears only a tenuous link to reality at the best of times.
FFS
10 have done a number on this, only surpassed by 9’s attempt to kill Top Gear.
