BASKETBALL: Men’s final *GOLD MEDAL EVENT*
Sunday August 12 at 11.50pm AEST – live on LONDON 1 Expect the US men’s basketball team to smash the opposition in today’s final, but could it be the final time we see the superstars of the NBA take part in the Olympic Games. Pressure is building from the owners of some NBA teams to limit their exposure to the Games, given that this is often the time when their players go for operations and rehabilitation. Savour it while you can, we may not see its like again.

MODERN PENTATHLON: Women’s final *GOLD MEDAL EVENT*
Sunday August 12 from 4.55pm AEST – live on LONDON 3 & 5 Women’s: Chloe Esposito (final) The first event to start the day and the last to finish will be the women’s modern pentathlon, and Australia’s Chloe Esposito is not without a chance; 8am (BST) for the fencing, followed by swimming and riding, and ending with the combined running and shooting phase which starts at 6pm (BST). The international favourites include Lena Schoneborn (Germany), Mhairi Spence (Great Britain), Ekaterina Khuraskina (Russia) and Qian Chen (China).

BOXING
Sunday August 12 at 10.25pm AEST – live on LONDON 6 Men’s 52kg (final); Men’s 60kg (final); Men’s 69kg (final); Men’s 81kg (final); Men’s +91kg (final) Russia’s Misha Aloian is favourite for the 52kg class; Ukrainian superstar Vasyl Lomachenko should claim the 60kg division, while countryman Taras Shelelstyuk (69kg) should make it a Ukraine double. Men’s super heavyweight completes the night, with current world champion Magomedrasul Medzhidov (Azebeijan) the favourite.
