If you’ve heard enough about The Slap but you missed it last year, ABC begins a repeat of the miniseries from tonight.
The eight-part series begins at 10:10pm.
This has picked up a slew of awards and is highly recommended.
It’s also a good time to start loading up your PVR with content to get you through the upcoming summer season.

Made “Sopranos”look like a tidy wrap up.
Thanks David, it is a puzzle. One would have thought the producers would have had a fair idea this might be the end and the final ep looked like it was heading for a clean wrap. Then in the last 5 or 6 minutes, as you no doubt know, everything went haywire and left everything on a knife edge. Whereas Season 2 ended with a satisfactory, this -could-be-the-end feeling.Great as the series is, it was an unfortunate way to end it and they must have felt pretty sure they would be back for season 4 to do it in this way. Would be crazy if that is it ,forever. When the credits rolled, I let out a very loud “whaaaaaat??!!”knowing this was probably the end for the show.
I was pretty angry with the ending.
“The Slap” is good, but after watching “Tangle” season 3 this last week, it leaves it for dead. !!What an incredible and under rated and still virtually un known TV series. Sadly season 3 ended on a very potent and unfinished cliff hanger. The series needs to be wound up, i read recently TV tonight said the series is unlikely to have a 4th season. Surely to give this series its proper place in Australian TV history, it needs at least a 2 hour telemovie to wrap it up otherwise it would forever remain incomplete. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Why it sucked the 1st time, doubt it will get better the 2nd screening. Just another Aussie show that shows that the Americans leave us for dead in hard hitting, intelligent drama.
What like Flash Forward and The Event? Face it, every country has their good and bad, and the US will now remake The Slap.
I’ll finally get to see this. That’s a good idea about stockpiling for Summer David, but I don’t think I’ll be able to hold out until then .
